School Excursions and Activities
Every year, each class goes on different excursions. At the beginning of the year, the children will go on day trips to different places, such as a ropes course or across the lake to Constance. Later in the year, the upper grades will take multi-day trips to Switzerland, Paris, London, or Rome. In addition, there is a winter sports field trip, which gives the option of skiing or sledding. These excursions are so much fun for the children and staff!
School Holidays
The State of BW follows a year-round school schedule. This means that, throughout the year, there are several 1-2 week breaks, as well as a 6-week summer vacation. In addition, BW has many holidays grounded in religious traditions. SIS follows the same school holidays as the public schools. This calendar can be found here:
